The College provides students with the opportunity to study Outdoor and Environmental Education as a part of their school curriculum. All Year 9 students engage with a semester of Outdoor and Environmental Education through the MYP.
It is then offered as a Stage 1 and 2 elective for students in Years 10, 11 and 12. This program provides a successive delivery of skills and knowledge aimed at fostering understanding and engagement with a student’s community and individual learning.
Environmental awareness and related ecological ethics are a common theme throughout this subject’s scope.
