Kormilda College is very keen to ensure that parents and the community have their say in issues that arise in the College. Over the past twelve months, several two-minute surveys have been emailed to parents asking their opinion on a range of subjects. One of these was looking at the term 'internationalism'.
In 2011 the Kormilda College Board asked a consultant to undertake a survey of both students and parents, gauging their views on a range of issues across a number of levels. The results are below. In response, a restructure occurred in the College to ensure that recommendations were met and parent engagement improved.
Within our Wellbeing structure, Year level Team Leaders (Heads of Year) are now in place to regularly monitor the progress of students in their year level, and contact parents if any issues of concern emerge. There are also Heads of House who manage student engagement and fund-raising in their House teams, all part of endeavouring to ensure student wellbeing.
