CLARIFYING DAY

YEAR 7-10 STUDENTS: Clarifying Day
This is just a reminder that this Monday, March 20, you will be participating in a series of diagnostic literacy tests over 4 lessons. Your parent’s received a letter explaining the testing arrangements nearly two weeks ago.

Your Home group teacher, today or Friday, will tell you which room you will be in for the 4 lessons. Somewhere, write and remember the room number, as there will be no Home group Monday.

As these tests are undertaken on-line for lessons 1-4, you do not need to bring any pens or papers into the room but you will need them for lessons 5 and 6.

Please bring an Independent reading book or graphic novel to read as some of you will take less time than the maximum test time. If you finish early, please check your responses. If you are satisfied with your effort, you may silently read so as to not disturb others in finishing the test within the time limit.
These literacy assessments are very important, for they will help teachers to more effectively help and extend you as a learner.

You are expected to treat them seriously and silently.
