Student Vehicle Policy

Student Vehicle Policy

To ensure safe driving and for the protection of our students on campus the College has a Student Vehicle Policy that will be enforced.  Senior students with a valid driving license are permitted to drive their vehicle to school with written parental permission providing they drive in a safe manner and park in the designated student car park.

To support students who have just attained their driving license, it is a requirement that all students parking on College premises register their vehicle with the school, documentation is available from the School Operations Office or download here.

Students will be held accountable for their driving whilst on campus. For students who wish to provide transport to and from Kormilda College for other students, Kormilda must have written permission from the parents/guardians of both the driver and the passenger in advance.

Unsafe driving will result in immediate removal of driving privileges.

The maximum speed on campus is 15km/h. The vehicle and student driving is the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian. The school takes no responsibility for vehicle damage or theft whilst the vehicle is parked on College premises.

Kormilda College is an Anglican and Uniting Church College.
