In Health and Physical Education related news, student’s area still working on a variety of topics and are beginning now to move into the assessment phase of many of their units. Students are encouraged that if they ae having any troubles or difficulties with their assignments to see their teachers as soon as possible.

A general reminder that for Physical Education classes students need to ensure that they: have their house shirts, a hat and a water bottle. As part of our practical programs we have sunscreen that is rated at SPF 30-50+ and is generally suitable for most students, if however your child can not use this sunscreen please send them along with the one that is appropriate for them.

An excellent opportunity to meet some sporting greats

It was passed across the Health and Physical Education Teams desk the other day that the Australian hockey team are coming to Darwin. They will be playing Pakistan down at the Mararra Hockey Centre from the 28/3-1/4/2017 as part of the Darwin International Hockey Open. This is a great opportunity for many of your young and future sports representatives to see two world level teams in action and to fire their passion to represent the nation at such a high level. Tickets for this event can be purchased through NTix.
