Approximately 100 Kormilda senior students visited the 2016 Darwin Skills, Employment and Careers Expo at the Darwin Convention Centre. The Expo offered students and families the opportunity to meet with representatives of over 70 different Universities, Vocational Training providers, employers and industry groups.
Many of the exhibits provided students with the chance to try practical tasks associated with the industry or course. The timing of the expo also provided Kormilda College students with a suite of guest speakers from a variety of further education institutions, which has proven valuable to many students but especially the Year 12 students with university applications opening at the beginning of the month.
