Six student finalists from each of Years 3-4 and Year 5 will be competing next month in our Junior Masterchef competition to be held in the Food Tech Room. These finalists will be announced in assembly on Friday 13 November.
Our three guest judges, Dr Helen Spiers, Mr Matthew French and Mr Ross Marriner, will judge the competition.
In line with the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, the students have been earning their licences throughout the year by following strict rules in the kitchen and using initiative whilst preparing and cooking food. The students with the most licences will be invited to be finalists in the competition. They will be working in pairs to complete their challenge. The contestants will have two hours to prepare, cook and serve a main meal and a dessert to the judges, which will be judged on presentation, taste and originality.
Good luck to the contestants!
