If you know a former Kormilda student who has an interesting story to tell, please let us know!
Kormilda College has a rich history dating back to 1967 where it began as a boarding hostel for Indigenous children from remote communities.
Throughout this long passage of time, ‘the friends of Kormilda’ community has grown significantly, further enriched by the many proud success stories of our Alumni.
It is rewarding to see our Alumni return to Kormilda to volunteer their time in mentoring and working with our current students – effectively lending a helping hand and sharing their experiences that provides welcome support to our current students.
A group of former IB students even got together a couple of years ago and wrote a ‘student-to-student’ guide titled ‘How to Survive the IB’, which is brimming with advice on the Diploma program including valuable tips on time and social management – a fantastic and much welcomed initiative!
Our Alumni have celebrated achievements too numerous to completely cover, but as a start we will add profiles and stories within these pages to celebrate these amazing people!
