The boarding facilities at Kormilda College have been upgraded considerably in recent years, affording our students with the highest standard of modern accommodation.
A broad range of afternoon, evening and weekend activities and excursions are offered to residential students. Destinations range from the local shopping centres, movie theatres and recreational reserves, to local and intra-state sporting or cultural festivals.
Caring, trained boarding staff, ensure a safe, happy, healthy and supportive living environment is enjoyed by up to 230 residential students at Kormilda College.
Housed in three residences with twin and quad share rooms in addition to five-and-six bed dormitories, our residential students attend regular supervised homework sessions in support of their academic learning and they have access to extra tuition, including educational forums and guest speakers.
The residential students at Kormilda College are mostly Indigenous and from remote Territory communities. We have a number of non-indigenous boarding students from across the Territory and have also hosted a small number of International Boarding students from South East Asia.
